So...last night as we are getting ready for bed. I hear the sound of the trimmers and I run to see what is going on and there I saw the massacre of the beard. I quickly grabbed my camera and took as many pictures as I could. :) Here is the bloody death of the beard. :)

Ps....we are still not done with the growth of the hair on the top of his head. :)

only a month into it and i'm frickin miserable. it's no wonder you don't see guys (or girls) with beards in florida, IT'S ALWAYS HOT!!

here, i'm tryin hard to focus on sportscenter, mainly cubs highlights, while gnat keeps gettin in my face with the damn camera. frickin paparazzi.

this is my best impersonation of an old salty sailor/crazy-ass hillbilly. pretty good, huh? (dueling banjos playing in the background)

i wonder how j.c. made it through his life with long hair and a long beard. especially in the desert! oh wait, he's the son of god, duh. go cubs!!

While I've been away for a week, chaperoning for our church at Camp Lutherock in NC and missing my beau very very much....Special K's hair continued to grow...
He looked different to me when he came to pick me up late saturday night and it's only been one week and tons to go. He has said a couple times in the day I've been back that he wants the facial hair gone but I'm hoping he holds out because it's going to be fun to see what becomes of it. :) and it's pretty funny to watch him comb it.. .

He just needs to refrain from attacking the unsuspecting camera woman! She's a bit afraid of hairy mountain men...

And the growing begins....

Short hair...no facial hair.

Getting Hairy!!

My boyfriend Special K has taken on growing out the hair on his face and his head. I have taken on chronicling this adventure with pictures and comments here and there. :) Hope you guys like it!!!

This first started with me asking him if he'd grow out his hair because he always keeps it very short and I wanted to see what it looks like longer. He said OK and that he wasn't going to cut it until Dec. This was back in May.

Since Special K wasn't cutting his hair and really isn't too happy about it...he thought by telling me that he was going to grow out his facial hair out it would get me to tell him to shave his head...boy was he wrong. :) His boss got wind of this and has decided to bet Special K money that he doesn't shave his face until October.

I wish him luck because his hair grows fast and with curl. :)
